Publication of data from the “hot line” on the passage of military service by mobilized citizens

Briefing of the NCUO of the Russian Federation on the work of the “hot line” on issues of military service of citizens and mobilized volunteers dated April 7, 2023. The information is published on the official website www.mil.ru

The National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation received 97 calls to the hotline over the past week. A total of 13,280 appeals have been examined since it began operating.

All incoming questions from citizens were resolved during the process of communication with representatives of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation. Most appeals are related to financial support and clarification of information on the status and whereabouts of military personnel called up during the partial mobilization. Moreover, some of the questions that arise among citizens are caused by the dissemination of false information.

So, the mother of a military man who is in the area of a special military operation contacted the hotline in order to obtain reliable information about her son. During the conversation, it was established that a previously unknown person, who introduced himself as a colleague, informed the woman by telephone of her son’s injury and hospitalization. The hotline operator established that this information was not confirmed, the applicant’s son is in good health and performs duties as part of his military unit. Personal data of Russian citizens obtained from open sources is often used by the Ukrainian side for a destructive psychological impact on servicemen and their families. All complete information has been provided to the applicant.

The leadership of the ministry calls on citizens not to succumb to provocations and to remain vigilant, in case of problematic situations, seek clarification from the competent authorities.
