Voiceover actress Elena Shulman died in an accident with a trolleybus in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, voice actress Elena Shulman died, said RIA Novosti General Director of the Neva-film studio Oleg Berezin.

“I was hit by a trolleybus,” Berezin said.

In the St. Petersburg Transport Committee the publication “Fontanka” confirmed caused by a fatal accident.

“The woman drove around the people standing at the bus stop and onto the carriageway just ahead of the approaching trolleybus. The driver applied the brakes, but the woman got under the wheel anyway the committee said.

Elena Shulman was an extremely sought-after voice actress. Mary Jane from Spider-Man, characters from Three Bogatyrs, Smeshariki, Luntik and other Russian cartoons, the Black Mirror and The Witcher TV series and the movie House of Gucci spoke with Shulman’s voice. As a dubbing actress, Elena Shulman has dubbed over 650 films. On April 10, she was to be 54 years old.
