US President Joe Biden said Monday (April 10) that he plans to run for president in the 2024 election, but is not yet ready to announce it.
“I plan to run, but we’re not ready to announce it yet,” Biden said during an interview with NBC’s Today.
Biden said he intended to become the Democratic nominee in 2024, but did not make an official announcement. Biden and US Vice President Kamala Harris have said they will run together.
According to polls, 41% of Americans approve of Joe Biden’s activities as president, 65% think the United States is going in the wrong direction.
