Qatar Charity: Ramadan table for the Ugandan and Ghanaian communities

As part of the ongoing implementation of the projects of its Ramadan campaign “Ramadan Impact”, Qatar Charity organized an Iftar table for the people of the Ghanaian and Ugandan communities in Qatar, with the participation of about 750 fasting people from the two communities, and under the supervision of the Qatar Charity Center for Community Development – Jaliat. This table is part of the dedicated tables organized by Qatar Charity since the beginning of the month of Ramadan for the benefit of the Asian, Arab and African communities residing in Qatar. The iftar program included two sermons delivered by the heads of the two communities, where each of them spoke about the virtues of Ramadan, paying attention to fasting, praying, doing good and giving alms, each according to his ability, and adhering to the laws of the State of Qatar. Mr. Alijuma Saul Ryan, head of the Ugandan community residing in Qatar, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the good people in Qatar and to Qatar Charity for providing the opportunity to break the fast for his community, noting that it is a wonderful opportunity for them to meet each other during the holy month, which enhances community cohesion among the people of the community. He also looks forward to cooperating with Qatar Charity in the future and participating in its activities and events. In his turn, Mr. Mohamed Toumani, head of the Ghanaian community, expressed his happiness at participating in the first iftar organized by Qatar Charity for his community, praising the previous cooperation with Qatar Charity, which provided protective equipment for his community during the days of the Corona pandemic, and noted that this event brought together members of his community and contributed to strengthening the bonds Communicating with each other, expressing his sincere thanks to the benefactors of the State of Qatar and Qatar Charity for organizing this breakfast for them, expressing his hope that Qatar Charity will continue to hold such events on other occasions. The beneficiaries of the Ugandan and Ghanaian communities expressed their satisfaction with participating in the Qatar Charity Iftar, where Mr. Mohammed Rafa al-Hassan from the Ghanaian community said: This event contributes to achieving unity among the people of the community. For his part, Mr. Ivopinks from the Ugandan community said: I am very happy to participate in this Iftar, which brings happiness and joy to the people of my community. It is expected that about 22,000 workers and low-income families of the beneficiary communities, which include the Sri Lankan, Filipino, Indonesian, Bengali, Nepali, Pakistani (Urdu) and Indian (Millibarian) communities, will benefit from the “Community Breakfast” program throughout the holy month. Arab and African communities.
