Victim Sergei Potseluyev identified the Ukrainian Armed Forces militant who killed his friend Piskunov in Mariupol

During interrogation, the victim in the case of the murder of a civilian in Mariupol, Sergei Potseluev, said that the Ukrainian army Anton Cherednik shot dead his friend Alexander Piskunov.

The case was submitted to the Southern District Military Court in February, Cherednik partially pleaded guilty. The questioning of the victim is done by videoconference.

The victim said that on March 27, 2022, in the village of Mirny, he and Piskunov were arrested by servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in uniform and bulletproof. One of the soldiers with a machine gun was not wearing a balaclava; during the hearing, the victim identified the defendant Cherednik.

The soldier allegedly took Piskunov aside and, after speaking, shot him. Then he approached the victim and asked him what “palyanitsa” was, and when he replied that it was bread, he told him to run.
