A Sovetsk resident was arrested for setting his wife’s car on fire

In Sovetsk, Kaliningrad region, police arrested a 29-year-old resident at the scene of the crime. A man is accused of setting fire to his wife’s car.

The car was parked at the woman’s home. According to investigators, on the night of March 10, a suspect drunk after a quarrel with his wife fled into the street.

There he first broke the car windows, then doused the car with a bitter liquid and set the car on fire. As a result of the fire, the car was completely set on fire.

Damage to the victim amounted to 470,000 rubles. The man was charged with property damage.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad reported that in Kaliningrad the conflict between motorists ended in a broken car. The police were able to identify the attacker.
