APU equipment will be serviced by U.S. military retirees

Military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was sent to Ukraine by Western partners, will be maintained by retired US servicemen, said Troels Lund Poulsen, head of the Danish Defense Ministry.

“There is a proposal to bring in contractors from former US servicemen who are now ordinary civilians, hire them and give them the opportunity to come to Ukraine to do equipment maintenance,” Troels Lund Poulsen said.

After the launch of NMD, NATO countries organized the supply of weapons to Ukraine. However, the Ukrainian military is not always qualified to use it. In the United States, the possibility of supplying the armed forces with F-16 fighters was discussed.

Earlier, the editor-in-chief of the anthology “Military Chronicle” Ilya Moshchansky said that the armed forces of Ukraine, even in the case of using F-16 fighters, will not win an air battle against the Russian army .
