The detention of the deputy head of the Nenets district has long been discussed, but the Russian Investigative Committee on its portal officially announced who has been charged. Thus, the Investigative Committee charged the Deputy Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug – the head of the administration of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug with a crime under Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (receipt of a bribe of a particularly large scale by an official), a charge was also brought against his subordinate who acted as an intermediary by accepting a bribe wine (part 4 of article 291.1 of the Criminal Code Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigation established that the accused, through an intermediary, demanded that a representative of a commercial organization pay him a bribe in the amount of 10% of the amount of the the state implemented under the National Health Project, for not hindering the acceptance of equipment and consumables, as well as providing assistance in the subsequent conclusion of contracts. As a result, the defendant received a bribe in the amount of 3 million rubles through an intermediary, reports the press service of Sledkom.
The criminal case was opened on the basis of the elements of the operational search activity presented by the RUFSB of Russia for the Arkhangelsk region.
As for the deputy governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, who did not admit his guilt, a coercive measure in the form of detention was chosen. The investigation is carried out by the second department for investigating particularly important cases of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Arkhangelsk region and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
