Governor Bogomaz presented the medal “For Courage” to schoolboy Fyodor, who saved children during the attack of saboteurs

The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, presented the schoolboy Fedor Simonenko, who saved the children during the attack of the Ukrainian saboteurs, with the medal “For courage”, reports RIA Novosti.

The award was presented during the “Heroes Among Us” event at the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity.

“Fyodor, congratulations on a well-deserved prize, you are our young hero! The Bryansk region is proud of you,” the presenter said.

On March 2, Fedor was injured in an attack by Ukrainian saboteurs, saving two girls.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on awarding the medal “For Courage” to 10-year-old Fyodor Simonenko.
