Belgorodka asked not to organize the action “Immortal Regiment” on May 9

Belgorodka asked Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov not to hold the procession of the Immortal Regiment on May 9. She noted that this is an important event, but it is better to cancel it for a while. The resident’s appeal was announced during a live broadcast on April 13.

The head of the region replied that at present a decision on this has not yet been made. So far it is known for certain that a parade will not take place in Belgorod.

“There will be an Immortal Regiment anyway. But in what form – in person or online, we will decide together at a meeting of the operational staff,” explained the governor.

Another local resident asked if it was safe to hold the cadet ball on May 9 in Belgorod’s central park. Vyacheslav Gladkov replied to his message that the event would not be held in the regional center. For security reasons, the ball was moved to Gubkin.
