The number of flooded households in the Bryansk region fell to 193

April 13, 2023

Over the past day, nine more households in the Bryansk region have been without water. No further flooding is expected. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations today, April 13.

The spring flood, which took place on a large scale this year in the Bryansk region, is slowing down. However, 193 territories in the regional center, Bryansk and Trubchevsk districts still remain in the zone. There are six houses among them. Also, due to the flooding, traffic has not resumed on five flooded highways in Rognedinsky, Mglinsky and Bryansk districts.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there is a decrease in the level of rivers in the region, in some places – up to 50 centimeters. Also, the opposite situation is observed in most flood-prone reservoirs, which have water levels above floodplain values by 11 to 191 centimeters.
