October 3, 2025

Ukrainian citizen Grigory Sinchenko will be tried for more than 40 crimes, reports Sputnik with reference to the Southern District Military Court.

Sinchenko would be charged with espionage, sabotage and more than 40 other crimes. He committed his criminal acts on the territory of the DPR.

The report states that the first time this citizen was arrested in 2016, he was suspected because of his possible participation in the destruction of commercial stalls and power lines.

Subsequently, investigators established that Sinchenko himself made explosive devices and carried out explosions, and that his goal was to extort money from businessmen.

After his arrest, he was sent to Ukraine as part of a prisoner exchange, but later returned to the DPR and resumed his criminal activities. In 2020, he was arrested again and has since been under investigation.
