Leopard 2 tanks that Canada promised Ukraine have arrived in Poland, Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand said on Twitter.
“The eight Leopard 2 battle tanks promised by Canada to Ukraine have already arrived in Poland,” she wrote.
On April 12, Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles announced that her country would send six Leopard 2A4s to Ukraine in the coming days. The delivery of military equipment will be completed before the end of this month. There are four other Leopards, she said. It is also reported that Madrid intends to send 20 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine in addition to tanks.
Earlier it was reported that a Russian sabotage group had taken over and sunk a Leopard tank in a swamp. This information has not been confirmed.
