Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov has been removed from his post as Russian envoy to the board of directors of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB). The corresponding order was published on the official legal information portal.
“As part of the profound changes taking place in international relations, communicated (…) Siluanov AG to fulfill the functions of plenipotentiary representative of the Russian Federation on the board of directors of the Eurasian Development Bank”, indicates the document.
Siluanov has been Russia’s envoy to the board of directors of the Eurasian Development Bank since September 2012.
The EDB was established by the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan in 2006 and its headquarters are in Alma-Ata.
