Voronezh entrepreneurs are interested in the appearance of water transport on the reservoir. Governor Alexander Gusev spoke about it during a press conference with reporters on Friday, April 14.
The idea of ​​creating regular public transport on water appeared at the beginning of last year. But it’s too early to talk about river trams, the governor noted. To begin with, water transport should be organized by charter flights and see how much it is demanded by citizens, economically profitable and environmentally friendly.
Representatives of businesses, in particular, propose to lay out a route on the water between the points of attraction of the city for residents and guests of the regional center. In the water zone of the reservoir, these are the Scarlet Sails and Dolphin parks, the Petrovskaya embankment, which is being reconstructed, and a remote recreation – Chervleny Yar.
Earlier it was reported that 15 fixed piles will be installed on the reservoir for the river tram. But until the advent of public water transport, expensive berths will not be built. If there is a demand for water taxis, light structures will be built on the banks to stop charters.
