On April 15, the Cup of the Tula region and regional martial arts competitions were held on the basis of the New Generation sports complex. They brought together about 400 athletes from different cities of the Tula region.
The competitions included various types of martial arts such as Shotokan and Kobudo in age categories ranging from 6 years old to 21+.
Deputy Sports Minister of the Tula region Alexander Rossikhin said that martial arts contribute to the development of strength of mind and body in athletes.
A total of 73 sets of medals were played. This is the tenth time such competitions have been held in the region and they continue to attract the attention of martial arts and sports enthusiasts.
