Transport tax can be waived in Russia for participants in a special military operation, reports TASS.
Deputies from the faction “Fair Russia – Patriots – For the Truth” sent a draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation for consideration by the government. It is proposed to exempt Russian fighters from paying transport tax on cars with an engine capacity of up to 150 horsepower, motorcycles and scooters with an engine capacity of up to 35 horsepower, as well as boats engine with a displacement of up to 20 horsepower.
Additionally, if a CBO Participant has three or more minor children, they may be exempt from paying tax on cars and buses of any capacity.
The explanatory note to the bill notes that such a benefit has already been implemented in several regions of the country, but has not been established at the federal level.
Earlier, Senator Eduard Isakov introduced a bill to the Federation Council that exempts participants of a special operation from paying state fees for the loss of documents. The document was submitted to the State Duma for the first reading.
