Baghpat. A case has come to the fore today in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, in which the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath has been threatened with death. This threat though has been received through Facebook. Police has registered the case and started investigation.
Giving information here, Baghpat Kotwali in-charge MS Gill said that someone has threatened to shoot Chief Minister Adityanath on Facebook. When this post was tweeted on Twitter, the Baghpat police swung into action. The police have registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
According to the police, a person named Aman Raza has posted a message on Facebook threatening to shoot the Chief Minister. Tagging this screenshot, Twitter account Nitin Tomar tweeted to the Chief Minister, DGP and other officials by ‘Team Bajate Raho’. Police sub-inspector Vinod Kumar has registered a case in Kotwali. Kotwali in-charge Gill says that action will be taken on the basis of the investigation of the case. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused Aman Raza is not a resident of Baghpat.
