Rehabilitation in medical institutions of the Tula region was organized for demobilized participants of the SVO

April 19, 2023

In the region, demobilized participants in a special military operation undergo medical examinations in their polyclinic and receive consultations from a rehabilitation doctor.

A referral center was organized on the basis of the Tula Regional Clinical Hospital, where all information about demobilized residents of Tula who need medical care at their place of residence is received.

“Interaction with military hospitals has been established – after discharge, patients are immediately transferred under the supervision of doctors from the Tula region. This approach allows for a systematic approach to rehabilitation and timely referral of SVO participants for examination or treatment to area medical facilities. We now have 81 people accompanied, 38 of whom have undergone a complete medical examination. Those in need of rehabilitation received a consultation from a rehabilitation specialist and are being directed to further restoration of health,” said Deputy Minister of Health of the Tula region Mikhail Malishevsky.

The supply of equipment to the Tula regional hospital for war and labor veterans in the Venevsky district continues. Here, in June, a specialized department for the rehabilitation of NVO fighters will begin to function.

For their rehabilitation, the Tula region has developed its own regional program, which includes a whole series of measures: social, medical, psychological assistance, sanatorium treatment, employment assistance.
