New Delhi. During the last 24 hours, more than 10 thousand new cases of Covid infection have been reported in the country and with this the total number of infected persons has increased to more than 63 thousand.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said here on Wednesday that during the last 24 hours, 10542 new people have been infected with Covid in the country. With this, the number of Covid infected has increased to 63562 and the infection rate has been recorded at 4.39 percent.

According to the ministry, in the last 24 hours, 8175 people have recovered from Covid infection. The recovery rate is 98.67 percent. 240014 Covid infection tests have been done in the same period. During the last 24 hours, 487 Covid vaccines have been administered. With this, more than 220.66 crore Covid vaccines have been administered in the country.
