According to the Minister of Energy, Housing and Communal Services of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Mikhail Morozov, 25 large settlements in the region will be gasified by 2025.
Members of the Association of Representative Authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region at a meeting held in Shakhunya agreed that preparatory work should begin now. In addition to connecting the gas pipeline, 78 boiler rooms will have to be converted to gas. Most of the same Shakhunya is supplied with heat by two boiler rooms running on oil and wood chips.
Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod region Yevgeny Lyulin stressed that gas should come not only to the settlement, but to every boiler room and every house.
