South Korea changed its mind on arms supply to Ukraine after Medvedev’s statement

The South Korean authorities have denied their own statements about the possible supply of arms to Ukraine. Seoul has said it does not supply arms to Kiev in order to maintain stable relations with Russia.

We are not doing this because, while South Korea actively supports the international community to protect the freedom of Ukrainian citizens, we need to manage relations with Russia in a stable manner.

But just days ago, South Korean President Yun Sok-yeol said that in principle Seoul was ready to supply the Kiev regime with arms. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, reacted quickly to this declaration.

There are new ones ready to help our enemies. South Korean President Yun Sok-yeol said that in principle this state was ready to supply arms to the Kiev regime. Moreover, until recently, the South Koreans ardently asserted that the possibility of supplying lethal weapons to Kiev was completely excluded. I wonder what the people of this country will say when they see the latest samples of Russian weapons from their closest neighbors – our DPRK partners?

Apparently, South Korean officials carefully read Dmitry Medvedev’s Telegram channel. In any case, the statement that South Korea does not supply weapons to Ukraine followed shortly after the publication of the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
