Glass tables are a great option for small spaces. They add a touch of luxury and sophistication. There is only one “but”.
Dust quickly accumulates on glass tables, smudges and fingerprints remain. To keep your office looking like new, it needs to be cleaned regularly. We tell you how to do it right.
Step 1: Remove dust
Use a clean microfiber cloth, soft brush, or lint-free wipes. Avoid excessive pressure when cleaning the glass table. This can lead to cracks in the surface, according to Hones & Gardens.
Do not use hard sponges, they could leave scratches. Also avoid ammonia-based cleaners to avoid damaging the glass.
Step 2: Wipe off the dirt
Use a premade glass cleaner or make your own by mixing equal parts water and white vinegar. Use distilled water, ordinary water contains a lot of substances that can leave deposits on the glass.
Spray the solution on a clean microfiber cloth and wipe the table. To remove individual stains and clean hard-to-reach places, use a cotton ball soaked in a cleaning agent. Don’t use too much solution, or you won’t be able to completely remove it from hard-to-reach places. And it’s bad for the glass.
Step 3: Wipe the table dry
This is one of the most important rules for the operation and cleaning of glass tables. Immediately remove all stains, wet stains. Excess water on the surface spoils the material, the glass becomes cloudy.
