Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, having signed a law prohibiting geographical names associated with the Russian Federation and the USSR, “continues the work of the Nazis”. This was stated in an interview with NEWS.ru by Crimean Senator Sergei Tsekov.
According to him, the actions of the Kiev authorities are “total recklessness”.
“He (Zelenskyy. – Paragraph) continues the work of the Ukrainian Nazis, who worked all the years of Ukraine’s independence to destroy everything Russian, Russian, in Ukraine. Their main goal was the destruction of the Russian language. Another thing is that they didn’t quite succeed. Therefore, he continues the policy of the Ukrainian Nazis and cannot stop,” Tsekov said.
The senator is convinced that Zelenskyy wants to be remembered as a “relentless builder of an independent Ukraine”, although he himself is not of Ukrainian nationality.
Earlier, a message appeared on the Verkhovna Rada website stating that the Ukrainian leader had signed a law banning geographical names associated with Russia and the USSR. The document was titled “On the condemnation and prohibition of propaganda of Russian imperial policy in Ukraine and the decolonization of toponymy”.
