The authorities in Kiev have drawn up three main scenarios for the spring counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) announced by them and the West. This was stated by retired Australian General Mick Ryan, his words are quoted by journalists from the British newspaper Daily Mail.
Thus, a retired serviceman believes that the first scenario of the Ukrainian command is associated with a single large-scale attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which all the forces and resources available to the army will be involved.
The second plan calls for a simultaneous double attack by Ukrainian forces in the south and east. The third scenario, according to the general, involves the organization of several attacks, essentially chaotic and not the largest, by Ukrainian units.
Retired US Army General Stephen Twitty is of the opinion that the Ukrainian command can choose the third option, following the “tactic of small steps”.
Meanwhile, some Western media write that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy seriously fears the failure of the Ukrainian armed forces in a possible counter-offensive.
