Peskov warned the youngsters that the sanctions will remain forever

April 24, 2023

Dmitry Peskov, in the framework of the knowledge society marathon, said that even if the current sanctions against Russia are lifted one day, new ones will come in their place.

“They might become fewer in number, but the plans and aspirations of the collective West, especially the Anglo-Saxons to suppress Russia, will go nowhere,” the Kremlin speaker said, noting that their main goal is to get rid of Russia.

“Sanctions will stay forever, you have to go from there to build your life,” Peskov said, responding to the question of when the sanctions will be lifted.

At the same time, according to the presidential press secretary, the sanctions are not an obstacle for young people to “develop beautifully and make Russia the most exciting country in the world.”
