Moldova’s Ambassador to Moscow Darius summoned to Foreign Ministry in response to Chisinau actions

Moldova’s Ambassador to Moscow Lilian Darii, previously summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, arrived at the Russian diplomatic department on Tuesday. It is noteworthy that the diplomat entered the ministry building without commenting to the press.

Last week, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, Filip Cojocaru, announced that one of the employees of the Russian embassy in the country had been declared persona non grata by Chisinau.

Russian Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov, in turn, after a visit to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry, said that he did not get a clear answer to the question about the reasons for the decision.
