Germany intends to produce around 250,000 munitions for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. There is talk of 155 mm caliber shells, which will be transferred to Kiev, according to the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

In March 2023, EU member states agreed to allocate €2 billion to help Ukraine. This amount is intended to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with one million shells, and a quarter of them are ready for delivery from Berlin.

The well-known German company Rheinmetall will be engaged in the production of shells for the Ukrainian armed forces. For the production of weapons needed in Kiev, you need elements that are brought to Europe from Australia and South Africa.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny published footage of Germany sending military aid to Ukraine. According to military expert Alexei Ramm, they do not see weapons, but tents or blankets wrapped in polythene and, most likely, generators are visible.
