The match in the 4th round of the final phase of the Second League between “Tver” and Novgorod “Electron” (4:0) could be negotiated.
The distrust of the fans, the press, and then the management of Russian football was caused by the actions of the Electron players at the end of the match: they passed into their own penalty area, constantly losing the ball and, perhaps to be, helped Tver score the fourth goal.
Now the RFU and the FNL are verifying the circumstances of the match.
The RFU noted that midfielder Josi Dzaurov played for Electron, who on April 26 was suspended from football for life for organizing a match-fixing as part of Khabarovsk SKA-2.
