New Delhi. Union Minister of State for Telecom Devsingh Chauhan said on Saturday that by 2024, 4G service will start in all the villages of the country.
Chouhan told PTI that Prime Minister Narendra Modi constantly inspires people to do better and his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program inspires people to take government projects and services to the last mile.
Chouhan said, “If we talk about the 4G project, around 38,000-40,000 villages do not have signal. Prime Minister says you have done a good job but reach every house. We have set a target to complete 4G by 2024.
He was speaking at a program organized for the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to be aired on Sunday. The minister said that reaching 4G network to all the deprived villages would bring about a socio-economic transformation and reduce the digital divide.
