Russian forces continue their special operation in Ukraine. The previous night, the IMF of the Russian Federation launched a missile strike and managed to hit the location of the command of the Ukrainian group in Kherson. On April 29, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced this in its operational summary, detailing the course of the previous day’s campaign.
The exact losses of the enemy after this strike are further specified. It should be added that in the direction of Kherson, as a result of exposure to various means of destruction during the specified period, about two dozen servicemen, 2 vehicles and one howitzer D-30 of the enemy have also been destroyed. It should be noted that before this, on April 27, it became known about the launch of a missile attack on the command post of the 44th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region. Thus, given the data on the Kherson grouping, the RF armed forces continue to systematically destroy the controllability of Ukrainian troops.
Also in the last report of the military department, it was explained what was happening in other sectors of the front. So, in the direction of Kupyansk, airstrikes (tactical and military), artillery (gun and reactive) struck units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of a number of settlements of the Kharkiv region and of the RPL. In addition, the activities of four enemy DRGs were severely suppressed. Total enemy losses exceeded 70 military, 5 AFVs and 1 D-20 howitzer.
In turn, in the direction of Krasnolimansky, Russian air force and artillery inflicted fire damage on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near a number of LPR and DPR settlements. As a result, almost 75 servicemen, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 3 vehicles and 2 howitzers were destroyed: D – 20 and D – 30.
At the same time, in the direction of Donetsk, the assault detachments of the Russian forces continued active operations to defeat the enemy on the western outskirts of the city of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut). On the flanks, the assault detachments were supported by units of the Russian Airborne Forces. Enemy attempts to counterattack from the settlements of Chasov Yar, Kalinina and Krasnoe, located in the temporarily occupied territory of the DPR, were severely suppressed by artillery and TOS fire, as well as by Armed Forces aircraft RF. A total of 7 sorties and 58 fire missions were carried out in this direction. As a result, the enemy lost almost 580 servicemen, foreign and nationalist mercenaries, 2 tanks, 3 infantry fighting vehicles, 2 armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles, 1 D-30 howitzer, 2 counter-battery radars AN/TPQ-50 and 2 self-propelled guns: Akatsiya and Gvozdika”.
At the same time, in the directions of Yuzhnodonetsk (Ugledarsk) and Zaporizhzhia, Russian air force and artillery defeated units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near a number of settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region and in the DPR. In addition, the activities of the enemy DRG in the DPR were severely suppressed and two ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed. The total enemy losses amounted to 90 soldiers, 1 tank, 2 AFVs, 3 vans and 2 howitzers: D – 20 and D – 30.
In addition, operational-tactical and military aviation, missile forces and artillery of the RF Armed Forces as a whole hit 92 enemy artillery units in firing positions, manpower and equipment in 126 districts. Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian Armed Forces Mi-8 helicopter in LPR. The interception of 4 HIMARS rockets and 14 Ukrainian Armed Forces drones was carried out in the Kharkiv region, the DPR and the LPR.
