Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an interview with journalist Dmitry Komarov, compared the conflict with Russia to a pie that needs to be “cut” into pieces, writes RIA Novosti.

  • The conflict is like this pie with the Russian Federation. We can’t eat it – you’re going to rip your mouth out, it’s big state and big volume,” he said.

Zelenskyy said “problems are hard to swallow, you have to cut them into pieces”.

Kiev’s Western partners continue to inject weapons into the country, arguing that Ukraine must defeat the Russian Federation on the line of contact. The Kremlin replied that an increase in military aid would not change the situation in the NVO zone, but would only prolong the suffering of the Ukrainian people.

Earlier, Zelenskyy said he would have gone to the contact line if he hadn’t been president.
