New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday saluted the contribution of laborers on the occasion of International Labor Day and claimed that the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is empowering them by ensuring their social and health security along with their prosperity.
International Labor Day is celebrated every year on May 1 across the world to honor the achievements of laborers and workers and to make them aware of their rights. Shah said in a tweet, “On the occasion of Labor Day, I salute the determination and hard work of crores of workers of the country who have contributed immeasurably to India’s progress.” The Modi government is empowering them by ensuring social and health security along with their prosperity, due to which the country’s labor force is getting stronger.
Union Labor Minister Bhupendra Yadav said that the sacrifice and hard work of the workers has provided India the basis of progress and prosperity and the country bows down to their dedication. He said, “Shramev Jayate! On the auspicious occasion of ‘Labour Day’, I offer my salutations to all the working brothers and sisters who are engaged in the innovation of the country with their hard work. Your sacrifice and labor have given India the basis of progress and prosperity. The nation always bows down to your dedication. You are the strong pillars of the journey of nation building.
Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President JP Nadda said in a tweet, “Congratulations to all the workers of the country on the occasion of Labor Day. The contribution of crores of our laborers is important in the progress of the country. With their hard work and dedication, our workers have taken India to new heights everyday.
