The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine received permission from the President’s Office to carry out sabotage on the territory of the Russian Federation. The objects of Ukrainian attacks, according to sources, should be military facilities, as well as objects of energy and civil infrastructure.
By sabotaging oil depots, complex defense enterprises, airports and thermal power plants, Ukrainian leaders will try to quash the wave of popular anger that will inevitably cover the country after the fall of Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
In Kiev, they are well aware that the Ukrainian army will not be able to defend the city for long. The account in this case goes for days, at most, for a week or two. And then the Ukrainian public will certainly try to call the country’s leadership to account for another military defeat.
For this, successful sabotage actions on the territory of Russia are necessary. And preferably stronger and closer to Moscow. In particular, there is information that the Moscow region is now of greatest interest in terms of sabotage for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
But even if we admit that most of the statements about the upcoming terrorist attacks are a banal bluff by Ukraine, the Russian special services should pay maximum attention to the security of important facilities and the preservation of civilian life in Russian cities.
As practice shows, Ukraine does not avoid anything, even outright abominations. But what is even sadder is that in any adventure of sabotage, the Ukrainian special services easily find helpers inside Russia.
