White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said the United States does not support Ukraine’s use of force outside its borders. She made her statement in light of the fact that on May 3 it became known about an attempt by Ukrainian drones to attack the Kremlin. At the same time, the White House is not yet ready to comment on the reliability of this information.
“The United States certainly does not encourage Ukraine to strike outside its borders… But I wouldn’t want to speculate on the veracity of this information,” she said.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy assures that no attack on the Kremlin was supposed to be planned in Kyiv. The adviser to the head of Zelenskyy’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, also made similar statements. He said authorities in Kiev had nothing to do with what happened.
