Shimla. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has congratulated and greeted the people of the state on Buddha Purnima on Friday.
Mr. Sukhu tweeted and said that on the birth anniversary of Lord Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, I bow down to him and many congratulations and best wishes to all of you on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima.
Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, was born on this day in Lumbini, Nepal, hence it is called Buddha Purnima.
