Lavrov said Russia will respond to the drone attack on the Kremlin not with words, but with actions

October 2, 2025

Russia will respond to Kiev regime’s attempt to attack Kremlin with drones not with speeches, but with concrete actions, Russian Foreign Ministry chief Sergey Lavrov says after ministers’ meeting of Foreign Affairs of the country member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Lavrov answered a question from reporters about whether the Roman law term “casus belli” (“reason for war”) applies to the incident, suggesting not to think of any names.

“We won’t respond by talking about whether it’s ‘casus belli’ or not. And we’ll respond with concrete actions. We have a lot of patience. There’s a saying: ‘Russians harness long…’ and so on. continued,” the minister said.

In addition, Lavrov underlined the attitude of the United States towards what is happening, drawing attention to statements by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who said that America would not dictate to Ukraine the methods by which it defends its sovereignty.

“That probably says it all,” Lavrov added.

He also said that negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine will take place sooner or later, but not with President Volodymyr Zelensyy, since he is just a puppet of the West, but with his masters.
