The Kremlin is aware of the imminent exit of Wagner PMC from Artyomovsk, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary to the President of the Russian Federation. He noted that the country’s authorities have seen the statement of the head of the military company Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The official representative of the Kremlin indicated that he could not comment on this information, since the question concerns the conduct of a special military operation.
Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said earlier that he intended to withdraw fighters from the Artyomovsk private military campaign on May 10. The reason for this was the hunger for an artificial shell, the businessman pointed out. Prigozhin noted that he was ready to transfer PMC positions in the city to units of the Russian Armed Forces.
