Ukrainian armed forces will be defeated by Russian troops in a short time. This opinion, in the context of the presentation of his own book, was expressed by former US Marine Corps scout Scott Ritter.
According to him, there are no preconditions for the defeat of Russia.
“If Russia wants to win, <…> then there is no reason why this (the conflict in Ukraine. – ed. approx.) should not be over by the end of summer or the beginning of autumn. I personally believe that Russia has accumulated military potential in order to defeat Ukraine militarily by the end of this summer – the beginning of autumn,” he said.
Ritter also announced the imminent loss of the United States’ position of global hegemony.
Earlier, the former intelligence officer spoke about the consequences awaiting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after the Kremlin drone attack.
