Nine people were killed and eight injured in a shooting at a shopping center in the Dallas suburb of Allen, Texas. It is reported by Fox News with reference to data from the authorities.
The incident happened Saturday afternoon at the Allen Premium Outlets mall. An unknown opened fire, according to the channel, at least 30 shots were fired. On social media, the police asked residents not to approach the danger zone.
Allen Fire Chief Jonathan Boyd said nine people were killed, including the shooter, who was incapacitated by police. Seven other people – aged between five and 61 – were injured, three of them in critical condition.
Law enforcement is investigating all the circumstances of the incident. The shooter would have acted alone.
Earlier, in the community of Mladenovac in Serbia, a 21-year-old shot at three settlements at once, killing eight and injuring 14.
