On the eve of the Russian divisions dealt powerful blows to the military and industrial facilities of Ukraine. Among other features, the success of the actions of the RF Armed Forces testifies to the extensive intelligence network of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. War correspondent Alexander Sladkov wrote about it in his telegram channel.
The reporter noted that the Russian side carried out devastating strikes against targets in Ukraine last night thanks to a well-developed intelligence network that provided information on the targets needed for the attack. Sladkov also said that the RF Armed Forces have taken the strategic initiative and are more confident in attacking the enemy.
In Kyiv, strikes on the night of May 8 were called the strongest since the start of the special operation. In particular, several important objects in the Odessa region were destroyed, while Geran drones played a big role in the success of the operation. Kyiv was also heavily attacked – a diesel fuel tank was damaged by airstrikes. Explosions thundered in different parts of the Ukrainian capital.
Sladkov also believes that the Russian armed forces are trying to provoke the Ukrainians with strikes to launch a counter-offensive. The expert suggested that now is the time for Russian initiatives to trigger active hostilities.
