Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Plastic surgeon warns people about glitter after OnlyFans star takes her own life

Cosmetic procedures of all kinds are becoming increasingly popular around the world, as many people pursue unrealistic ideas of beauty that have been created based on social media and the so-called “filters” that give influencers and others the impression that they have smooth skin, an incredibly small waist but at the same time a beautiful figure, a behind, bright white teeth and a generous chest. I could go on at length on the irony of going under the knife to look like something that doesn’t really exist, but that’s not the point here.

The subscription site OnlyFans has also grown in popularity since the COVID-19 pandemic, when people had nothing better to do than hang out at home and make videos, and others had nothing to do. nothing better to do than sit at home and buy access to these videos. The site is mostly in demand for erotic and provocative content, ranging from photos of scantily clad individuals to pure pornography and even pictures of people’s feet.

Those who create content to sell on OnlyFans also feel pressured by unrealistic demands from their customers. For example, model Katie Price, who launched an OnlyFans site last year, revealed that she underwent another breast surgery just to keep up with the competitive market that OnlyFan has become.

In April, it was reported that OnlyFans star Christina Ashten Gourkani, who was best known as reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s lookalike, died after undergoing botched plastic surgery. The star went into cardiac arrest hours after having silicone injected into her rear end. The operation had taken place in a hotel room and the person who performed it did not have a medical license.

Plastic surgeon David Shafer has now warned people not to go overboard with cosmetic procedures. He said in an interview with Daily mail :

“Having an exaggerated look certainly attracts attention on social media. Filters don’t help there because they blur the lines between reality and dreams. People are starting to push their limits, and in this situation surgeons plastic surgeons have a big responsibility. Sometimes, and more often than you think, we have to say no to patients.”

Don’t be fooled by Instagram doctors

The doctor said the most common procedures he is asked to perform are breast augmentations, buttock augmentations and Brazilian buttock lifts. He advises people to avoid buying what Instagram doctors are trying to sell them.

“If it sounds too good to be true, something is going on that you don’t realize.”

David points out that surgery always comes with risks, although most of the time it goes well and the patients end up being happy. But when people like Christina start to really push the boundaries of what’s possible, the wind is set.

The most important thing is to ensure that cosmetic procedures are performed by professionals with the required licenses. It is not advisable to go abroad to cut costs, because there is a risk that the cheapest doctor will be cheap for a reason. Abroad, people find it more difficult to ensure that the doctor and health facility have the required authorizations and that follow-up is adequate.

“I regularly see patients who go overseas to go under the knife and then end up in my office hoping I can fix what was done or help them with injuries caused by a botched procedure.”

David says that when it comes to his work, for example, he makes sure patients know what to expect by drawing on 3D images and also analyzing their body structure to see what changes are right for each individual. . . For example, he asks patients who are going to undergo breast augmentation to put the pads they want in a bra and try to walk around with that extra weight.

He also says it’s important to realize that having multiple surgeries at once is undesirable.
