Prior to the holding of the China-Central Asia Summit, political scholars from several Central Asian countries gave interviews to the China Media Group. He hoped to enhance development and cooperation with China through the summit. Former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jumart Otorbayev said that in the last decade the Central Asian countries and China maintained close contacts in various fields. Trade between the two sides increased significantly.
