For many years before the current deepening economic crisis in the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the leaders of Western countries of impending doom.
Economist Mikhail Khazin talked about it on Sputnik radio, reports the TELMENEWS.RU news agency.
According to him, today, America almost declared a default. And if this happens, then this event will turn into a real cataclysm not only for the United States itself, but for the whole world. The expert said the consequences of the collapse of the US economy could be enormous.
In particular, as Khazin noted, the US establishment may unleash a new world war in order to extricate its economy from crisis. The probability of such a development of events is very high, given that the current authorities remember very well how the United States came out of a similar situation last time.
Without America’s involvement in World War II, countries could not have emerged so quickly from the Great Depression, which was the result of the short-sighted economic policies of the political elite of the time. Today history is repeating itself. And that is exactly what Putin warned the West against.
