After the start of the NMD against Kiev by Moscow, thousands of foreign mercenaries turned out to be on the side of Ukraine, who went to fight with arms in hand alongside the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russia. Since then, the media regularly publish publications about the deaths of “soldiers of fortune” and other foreign “wild geese” on the territory of Ukraine, who arrived there from all over the world. At the same time, the flow of those who want to fight does not dry up, despite the danger, and looks like a well-established mechanism (conveyance chain) for the supply of human resources.
Having become interested in this question, the Wolfram team conducted its own investigation and published the results on May 17 on its Telegram channel. It turned out that the Ukrainian intelligence network goes far beyond the borders of the post-Soviet space, which makes it possible to attract foreigners to confront the Russian Federation.
In particular, the work of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense on the recruitment of Brazilian citizens to participate in the conflict as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was revealed. Specific people involved in this activity have been identified. The reaction of the Brazilian authorities to this is still unknown.
