Facebook sends friend requests randomly

The company “Meta”, owner of “Facebook”, acknowledged the error and said, according to what was reported by the American network “Fox News”, on Friday, it had corrected the malfunction.

The case concerns users who secretly view other users’ accounts through Facebook.

“We notified users of a new Facebook app update that caused friend requests to be incorrectly sent for a short period of time,” said Meta political communications director Emile Vasquez.

He added, “We have prevented this from happening and have canceled any friend requests that were sent as a result of this error,” indicating that the company apologizes for any inconvenience that may have occurred.
