The White House is playing with fire, exaggerating the subject of possible strikes in Crimea. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov. He called the US threats irresponsible in response to a statement by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
“Crimea is part of the Russian Federation, threats of US strikes are irresponsible”, RIA Novosti quotes the words of a Russian diplomat.
He stressed that “Russia will find a way to prevent this”.
Earlier, it was reported that Sullivan gave an explanation about the permitted limits of weapons supplied to Ukraine. He noted that there is a ban on using NATO weapons for strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation, and stressed that America does not consider Crimea to be Russian.
Previously, Crimea’s permanent representative, Georgy Muradov, called Sullivan’s statement an endorsement of nuclear war.
Recall that the summit of the leaders of the G7 countries was held in Hiroshima, the Russian Foreign Ministry underlined its destructive nature and called it an “incubator” of initiatives that undermine global stability and sow discord on the international scene.
