Pratapgarh (UP). In a village under Sangipur police station area of Pratapgarh district, the case of a young man being stabbed to death while sleeping on the terrace has come to light. The police have registered a case and arrested the brother of the deceased on the charge of murder.
Inspector-in-charge (SHO) of Sangipur police station Manoj Kumar Yadav said on Tuesday that Shailendra Tiwari alias Pardeshi, a resident of Juhi Shuklapur village of the police station area, is the watchman of the police station here, who killed his younger brother Gyanendra Tiwari (28) who was sleeping on the terrace on Monday night in a domestic dispute. Killed him by stabbing him with a knife.
The SHO told that when the family members started making noise, the accused Shailendra surrendered after coming to the police station. He told that on the Tahrir of the deceased’s uncle Bhupendra Nath Tiwari, a case of murder has been registered against accused Shailendra and he has been arrested. Yadav said that the incident is being investigated by sending the dead body for postmortem.
