The Kremlin has started preparations for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to China. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the head of state had been invited to Beijing for the One Belt, One Road forum.
“There is a valid invitation, it will be agreed later, the dates and everything else,” Peskov said.
Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Putin received an invitation to participate in the 3rd International Forum “One Belt – One Road” in China.
The forum in China is expected to become a platform to discuss the development of the Asia-Pacific region and chart a new roadmap for trade relations with more than 60 countries in Central Asia, Europe and Africa. The first forum took place in 2017, the second in 2019.
