Sydney. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Governor General of Australia David Hurley on Wednesday. During this, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen the long-standing bilateral partnership and people-to-people contact between India and Australia. Modi met Hurley after wide-ranging talks with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
During the meeting with Albanese, the two leaders discussed focussing on promoting overall bilateral relations in areas such as trade, investment, defense and renewable energy. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs tweeted, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australia in Sydney. Talks took place between Governor General Hurley. Modi also said he was delighted to meet Hurley. “Delighted to meet Governor General David Hurley and discuss India-Australia relations.
